PERSONAL DATA STORAGE AND DATA SECURITY

RIEL pays special attention to data protection and safe processing of data. Personal data will never be sold or released to third parties without prior agreement of the customer, except in cases provided by law. When personal data is released based on legal obligation, this will only be handed over in the extent necessary, and only to the relevant authority specified by legally authorized body. Data is stored on our servers and servers provided by storage service providers. We take all necessary measures in proportion to the risks involved to ensure that only authorized persons have access to the data, and to ensure the integrity and availability thereof. LEGAL REMEDY

You are entitled to object at the data manager, if the processing or forwarding of your personal data is only necessary for the fulfillment of obligation related to RIEL, or the enforcement of rights of RIEL, the data holder or third parties; if the use or forwarding of personal data has the purpose of direct solicitation, opinion poll or scientific research, or if you are otherwise legally entitled to practice the right of objection. Suggestions and remarks concerning data protection will be dealt with within 15 days of submission. Should you not receive a response or should the response received not be satisfactory, you may take the case to court within 30 days of issuing the response or up to the deadline if specified. In case of violation of law you can revert to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1024 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/C., ugyfelszolgalat[at]naih.hu, +36 1 391 1400, www.naih.hu) or to the competent court. The corresponding provisions of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information are to be applied concerning the data processing issues not mentioned in this statement.

Information on the internal whistleblowing system

The employer shall comply with its obligation to provide information pursuant to Article 25 of Act XXV of 2023 on Complaints, Notifications of Public Interest and Rules for Reporting Abuses (hereinafter referred to as the hungarian Whistleblower Directive) as follows:

II. THE FUNCTIONING OF THE INTERNAL WHISTLEBLOWING SYSTEM:

1. The Employer's internal whistleblowing system is operated by Ilona Asztalos (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator")

3. Procedure for the reports:
3.1. A Information on illegal or suspected illegal acts or omissions, or other misconduct, may be reported to the internal whistleblowing system. Violations of employee conduct rules established by the employer may also be reported. The person entitled to make a report (Article 20 of the Whistleblower Directive) may do so in writing or orally. An oral report may be made by telephone or in person.
3.2. A whistleblower in bad faith is not entitled to the whistleblower protection rights under the Whistleblower Directive. If it has become apparent that the whistleblower has communicated false data or information in bad faith and
a) circumstances indicating that a criminal offence or irregularity has been committed have arisen, his or her personal data must be handed over to the body or person entitled to conduct the proceedings,
b) there are reasonable grounds for believing that he or she has caused unlawful damage or other harm to another person, his or her personal data must be handed over to the authority or person entitled to initiate or conduct the proceedings, at the latter's request. The notification shall not constitute a criminal offence or irregularity.

III. INFORMATION ON WHISTLEBLOWING SCHEMES AND PROCEDURES UNDER THE WHISTLEBLOWER DIRECTIVE

A separate whistleblowing system may be operated by a person or department within the body concerned who cannot be instructed to do so. Information on illegal or suspected illegal acts or omissions or other misconduct may be reported to the separate abuse reporting system. Anyone may report to the separate abuse reporting system. In addition, the rules of the Whistleblower Directive on public interest reporting shall apply to the handling and processing of reports made to the separate abuse reporting system.
